Valle de la Lengua is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.

This accessibility statement applies to the Valle de la Lengua Data Portal (URL).

This website is partially compliant with Royal Decree 1112/2018 due to the non-compliance of the aspects listed below.

The content set out below is not accessible for the following reasons:

• There are errors in the use of semantic labelling that reflects the information and relationships within the content, as well as its name, function and value, in WAI-ARIA [requirements 9.1.3.1 and 9.4.1.2 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].

• There are screens where keyboard navigation is not optimal and the focus has issues relating to its order and visibility [requirements 9.2.1.1, 9.2.4.7 and 9.2.4.3 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are screens where navigation includes focus traps [requirement 9.2.1.2 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are forms where the purpose of a field is not identified, where errors are not adequately flagged, or where labels or instructions regarding the handling of personal data are not provided appropriately [requirements 9.1.3.5, 9.3.3.1, 9.3.3.3 and 9.3.3.2 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are errors relating to the semantic structure and code processing (CSS and HTML) [requirements 9.1.3.2 and 9.4.1.1 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are errors relating to the language of the content and page titles [requirements 9.2.4.2 and 9.3.1.2 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are errors relating to the purpose of links, non-descriptive headings or labels, and accessible labels [requirements 9.2.4.4, 9.2.4.6 and 9.2.5.3 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are status messages that are not announced to users of assistive technology [requirement 9.4.1.3 Status Messages of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are errors relating to accessibility services and user preferences in non-web software [requirement 11.7 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are errors relating to documentation requirements [requirement 12.1.1 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There are errors relating to the WCAG compliance requirements [requirement number 9.6 of UNE-EN 301549:2022].
• There may be isolated editorial errors on some web pages.

The website may contain office documents – published before 20 September 2018 and not currently used for active administrative tasks – that do not fully comply with all accessibility requirements.

Through the ‘Complaints and claims regarding the accessibility of websites and apps’ procedure, you can submit a request for accessibility information relating to:

• Content that is excluded from the scope of Royal Decree 1112/2018, as set out in Article 3(4).
• Content that is exempt from compliance with accessibility requirements on the grounds that it would impose a disproportionate burden.

The accessibility of the website has been taken into account throughout the design, management, maintenance and content update processes.

This website complies with the requirements of the UNE-EN 301549:2022 standard, taking into account the exceptions set out in Royal Decree 1112/2018.

The website:

• It has been designed in accordance with current accessibility standards and regulations, meeting the Priority 2 (AA) success criteria defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) specification.
• It is optimised for the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Opera
• It is designed to display correctly at any resolution and on any device, whether desktop, tablet or mobile (responsive design)
• It has been built using HTML5 as the markup language and CSS 3 stylesheets for its design

Furthermore, content is continuously audited and reviewed to ensure it is easy to understand and to improve navigation of the website.

Compatibility 

This website is optimised for viewing in the main web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. 

It has been programmed in accordance with the international HTML5, CSS and WAI-ARIA standards. 

Responsive design 

This website is also designed to adapt its display optimally to the main mobile browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and the native Android browser. 

Increasing and decreasing text size 

If you wish to increase the text size, you can zoom in on the page using the following keyboard shortcuts: 

• ‘Control’ key (or ‘Command’ on Mac) + ‘+’ key to zoom in 
• ‘Control’ key (or ‘Command’ on Mac) + ‘-’ key to zoom out

How to change colours
